JACKSONVILLE, USA. On December 21st 1955, the Eastern Airlines flight from Chicago to Florida crashed while landing at Jacksonville’s Imeson Airport, killing all on board. This badly charred cover with a ‘Liberty’ stamp was posted in Chicago on December 19th. It was forwarded in an ambulance cover with a stereo enclosure explaining the reason for the damage.
