1905 picture post card to Cradock with a 1d cancelled CYPHERGAT JA 3 5. A Cradock JA 4 05 arrival c.d.s. is on the card. Cyphergat is a village in the Moltno district between Queenstown and Burgersdorp. In the Boer War, it was the scene of a battle on 22 January 1900 when a force of 2000 Boers attacked the railhead there.
