1859 cover to England, endorsed ‘Prepaid’, with a 6d pale rose-lilac (SG 7)with good to very large margins, tied by a barred triangular cancel. A red CAPE TOWN JU 16 1859 dispatch cancel is on the back and a Chelmsford JY 29 59 arrival c.d.s. On the front is a Paid Devonport Cape Packet 28 JY 59, a London Paid 29 JUL and a red ‘5’ accountancy mark. The cover is lightweight paper and has minor wrinkling which in no ways detracts. A fine cover with this scarce stamp.
