1939 cover sent registered to New Zealand (with original enclosure) with Silver Jubilee 1d, 2½d and 4d and a Coronation 2½d paying a 10d rate tied by SOUTH GEORGIA MR 25 39 datestamps. The cover arrived at its’ destination Ngaruawahia on 26 June but the addressee had left and the cover remined there until 7 July when it went to Hamilton where an unclaimed h/s was applied, dated 10 JUL 39. A Dead Letter Office Wellington 21 JL 39 c.d.s. is on the back and from there it was returned to the USA. Interesting !!
