1965 registered cover to Hinchley Wood, Surrey, with a Wilding 3d and International Geographical Congress 1/6d and 4d, which has the error ‘violet’ (face value) omitted. (SG 652a) all cancelled NEWTON STREET GREENOCK 2 SP 65. The error is, according to the certificate ‘a little soiled’, but hard to determine. A very rare error on cover, the stamp catalogued at £225 mint, no value given for used. 2024 B.P.A. certificate.
