1875 envelope to Liverpool bearing a wing margin 6d cancelled by a B31 barred numeral obliterator. A '5' manuscript mark is on the front of the cover along with a red Paid Liverpool Br Packet 22 JY 75 2D datestamp. On the back is a red double arc PAID - AT - SIERRA – LEONE JY 7 1875. Although the cancellation does not tie the stamp to the cover, it clearly belongs.

1935 envelope to the U.S.A. franked with a 2d, tied by a good strike of the uncommon MOYAMBA 1 OC 35 datestamp. The letter was underpaid by a 1d and a 'T 20c' tax handstamp was applied. On the reverse is a Freetown OC 1 35 transit cancel. Moyamba is in the Southern District of Sierra Leone.

1895 2d registered envelope to Freetown, with a 2d added, cancelled by a B31 barred obliterator with a SHERBRO NO 21 95 datestamp beneath. A Freetown NO 23 95 arrival cancel is on the back. An uncommon internal use registered cover.
1900 2d registered postal stationery envelope to London with an additional 1d stamp affixed to pay the postage, cancelled Registered Sierra Leone OC 29 00. A London arrival cancellation of 11 NO 00 is also on the front of the cover.
1917 1d Edward VII postal stationery card to Switzerland with a ½d added, each cancelled Mano Salija AP 7 17. A Freetown AP 17 17 transit c.d.s. is on the front of the card. A fine item from this small town.
1906 2d registered envelope to Gotha, (Germany) endorsed 'Via England' franked with a ½d and 2 x 1d's, tied by registered Freetown OC 26 06 cancels. Below is a good strike of the scarce PORTLOKKOH OC 25 06 datestamp. On the reverse are London 9 NO 06 transit and Gotha 10.11.06. arrival datestamps. Scarce.
1894 envelope to England franked with a 4d brown, tied by a barred B31 obliterator, with a Freetown DE 3 94 datestamp at the lower left. A red Liverpool DE 21 94 c.d.s. is also on the front of the cover. Fine.
1917 censored picture post card to Scotland that has had G.B. stamps applied in Sierra Leone. As these were not valid for use there, the card has been taxed and a 'T'¯ handstamp applied to the top left. A Freetown SP 24 17 datestamp and a 'PASSED BY CENSOR'¯ handstamp are both on the back of the card. Fine and unusual.
1936 registered envelope to England franked with a 5d, cancelled KENEMA NO 12 36 with a registration handstamp alongside, the number being inserted by hand. A 'LATE'¯ handstamp has also been applied to the front of the cover. Fine.
1918 censored 1d postal card to Switzerland cancelled Bonthe 10 NO 1918. The card has been censored with a straight line 'Passed By Censor'¯ handstamp and a '4'¯ in shield. Interestingly, November 10 1918 is the day before the armistice was declared and the war ended. Fine and uncommon.
1887 registered envelope to England bearing three 2d, each cancelled by B31 barred obliterators. Liverpool 15 JA and London 16 JA 1888 transit datestamps are on the front, on the back is a FREETOWN DE 30 87 dispatch c.d.s. Some foxing to the cover.
