1896 - 1896 registered envelope to Iowa, USA, bearing a strip of three and a single d and a pair of 2d all cancelled by the T 1 barred obliterator. A Registered Turks Island JA 17 96 canceller is on the front of the envelope and a New York 1.25.96 transit and Iowa City JAN 28 96 arrival cancels on the reverse. Part of the back is missing from being roughly opened but this hardly detracts from an attractive looking cover.
