1943 1 Anna envelope registered to India with an additional two 1Annas and two ½ Annas on the back to pay the 4 Anna registered rate, cancelled ADEN 6 MAY 43. A 26 MAY arrival cancel is on the back. A boxed censor cachet is on the front of the cover along with a boxed 'ADEN' handstamp.

1832 envelope and letter to HONG KONG, endorsed ‘Aden’ at the top in the same handwriting as the address. A mark that implies that the passage of the letter has been paid is also on the front of the envelope. There are no postal markings, but the letter, written in archaic Gujarati is dated 28th August 1832. In this letter, the writer refers to the sale of 13 boxes of Malwa opium! A translation of the letter accompanies this. An extremely fine and very rare item to a very uncommon destination.
