1902 Hong Kong -  1902 China 1ct postal card to Portsmouth, England, written from H.M.S. Cressy, with an additional 4c added, cancelled AMOY MR 24 02.  Victoria, Hong Kong, MR 26 02 transit cancels are on the back of the card. HMS Cressy was a Cressy-class armoured cruiser built for the Royal Navy in 1899. Upon completion she was assigned to the China Station. Cressy was sunk by a torpedo from submarine U-9 on 22 September 1914 near Holland.

DE 1 12 transit cancel is on the card. Although one of the five original Treaty Ports in 1843, Ningpo saw very little commercial activity and commercial mail from there is very scarce.

1946 Hong Kong - 1946 stampless On Active Service air mail envelope to Bombay, India, with a good strike of the extremely rare F. P. O. No. 127 29 APR negative seal canceller on the back. A Bombay 6 MAY 46 arrival datestamp is also on the back of the cover. Shortly after the Liberation of Hong Kong Indian Army units arrived in the Colony. Their Field Post Office No. 127 was at a camp in Kowloon. Very few examples of this canceller are known the earliest date recorded is 12 March 1946 and this is the latest date at 29 April. It is believed that less than five covers have been recorded with this negative canceller. A major Hong Kong rarity.

The cover has been endorsed Via Vancouver which was by far the shortest and quickest route to Europe after the Canadian Pacific Railway across Canada was opened in 1885. A Wismar AU 30 95 arrival c.d.s. is on the back, giving a transit time of 34 days.
