1935 Northern Rhodesia - 1935 air mail envelope to England franked with a Silver Jubilee 6d cancelled NKANA 15 JUN 35. Named after Chief Nkana, the local traditional ruler, Nkana was originally opened as a railway station to support the growing complex of copper mining operations in the area.

1935 Northern Rhodesia - 1935 registered Barclays Bank envelope to Lundazi franked with a Silver Jubilee 6d cancelled FORT JAMESON 19 SEP 35. A scarce internal registered cover to what was then a very small and inaccessible village 116 miles east of Fort Jameson on the Nyasaland border. The area has a long history of mining for aquamarine and tourmaline.

1929 Northern Rhodesia - RAILWAY STRIKE MAIL AIR MAIL. 1929 envelope to Bulawayo bearing a 2d cancelled NDOLA 15 FEB 29 that was carried by the R.A.F. during the railway strike on the Copperbelt.. This R.A.F. Plane left Cairo on February 12th on the annual Cairo to Cape Town flight. It arrived at Ndola on February 25 where it picked up the mail. From there it went to Livingstone (Feb 27) and arrived in Bulawayo on February 28. All the covers known (11) are addressed to Duly & Co in Bulawayo. All are crumpled as they were rescued from a waste paper basket. An extremely rare cover and one of very few that has R.A.F. written on the back in ink.
