1893 envelope to FIJI bearing a 2d and bisected 1d to pay the 2½d rate, cancelled by a barred duplex of NUKUALOFA 5 JL 93. On the reverse are Suva 18 JY and Levuka 19 JLY 93 transit and arrival cancels. Bisecting 1d stamps was authorised from 31 May 1893 prior to the arrival of the ½d on 1d overprinted stamps on 21 August 1893. A correct usage in the right time period to an uncommon destination. Fine.
