1898 ½d postal card to Germany with a ½d added to pay the overseas rate, but still taxed with a 5c tax mark, the stamp cancelled by an 11 barred 'Y' canceller, which was allocated to DEWETSDORP.. On the back of the card is a DEWETSDORP MY 1 98 datestamp and a Bloemfontein MY 2 98 transit c.d.s. An Oppeln 26.5.98. arrival cancel is on the front. A good proving card for the 'Y' canceller.
