1899 cover to Auckland, New Zealand, bearing a 2d pale violet and a diagonally bisected 1d bright rose to pay the 2½d overseas rate, cancelled NUKUALOFA 25 MR 99. On the back is an Auckland 29 MR 99 arrival cancel. A late usage of this bisect. A 1990 B.P.A. Certificate states that the cover is genuine but philatelic (?) which one would query.
