1900 envelope to Johannesburg bearing a pair of Transvaal ½d's and an O.F.S. 1d tied by oval violet Veld-Post, Z.A.R. CHARLESTOWN 14 MRT 1900 datestamps. On the back are Volksrust 14 MRT transit and Johannesburg 16 MRT 00 arrival cancels. A good example of this uncommon cancellation during the Boer Occupation of northern Natal.
