1901 envelope to the Klerksdorp Refugee Camp franked with a Bermuda 1d cancelled HAMILTON NO 7 01. A blue 'PRISONER OF WAR BERMUDA, PASSED CENSOR' handstamp is on the front of the cover along with a Johannesburg Censor cachet. Johannesburg 16 DEC and Klerksdorp DE 18 01 transit and arrival cancels are on the back. The sender was one of the 'hard core' Boers on Darrell's Island and is known from other correspondence written by him.
