1902 envelope to a P.O.W. at Ahmednagar Camp franked with a Cape 1d cancelled OUDEPLAATS 30 AP 2. (A scarce canceller, the post office, in the Aberdeen district, had its' name changed from Vriespoort in May 1900) On the back of the cover are Bombay MY 28 and Ahmednagar 29 MY 02 datestamps as well as a fancy scroll censor cachet of B. P. O'Dowd, applied on arrival at the camp.
