1902 proof of the embossed FOUR CENTS design in orange red on stiff paper, measuring 56 x 56mm, that was used for registered envelopes in 1902. This value and colour was used on the 1898 registered envelopes but for the 1902 issue they retained the 4c value but changed the colour to blue. A scarce proof.
