1906 registered international letter card to Austria, endorsed on the back 'Sender A Zander, Lahad Datu', bearing two 10c adhesives tied SANDAKAN 6 AUG 06. A boxed registration handstamp with the same date but manuscript '2270' is in the lower left corner. On the back are Singapore AU 20, Napoli 11.9. and Wein 14.IX.06. transit and arrival cancels. The card opens up to depict a newborn child astride a stork ! A truly magnificent item and a very rare registered letter card.
