1911 picture post card (Wynberg, Cape) to England franked with a Cape Of Good Hope 1d cancelled ROODEWAL R. O. 27 FEB 1911. (Putzel lists this as being closed in 1909!) Alongside is a KOPJES 27 FEB 11 datestamp, the name being off centre and a possible relief canceller, but unrecorded by Putzel in any form. He shows an example with 'R.O.' in the canceller. Both Roodewal and Kopjes are very small villages in the Orange Free State and even though this is in the inter-provintial period, a very scarce card to have both these cancels on, particularly as the one is unrecorded.
