1915 censored cover used internally to Windhuk with a South African Kings Head 1d tied by a boxed '13' canceller dated 21 AUG 15. This numeral cancel was known used at Swakopmund between January and mid April 1915, but after that there are no records as to where it went. By August 1915 Germany had surrendered the colony (July 9) and this cancel was probably with troops in the interior of the country. It is believed the only cover with this cancel known after its' use in Swakopmund in April 1915. A rare cover.
