1927 envelope to England bearing a 2d cancelled by a fine strike of the scarce KAWAMBWA 4 FEB 27 datestamp. An Ndola 19 FEB 1927 transit cancel is on the back of the cover. Kawambwa is located in the north east of the country on the edge of the northern Zambian plateau above the Luapula valley.
