TANGIER. 1939 envelope to the USA with a G.B. 1d and 1½d, both overprinted TANGIER, cancelled BRITISH POST OFFICE TANGIER 6 AU 39. On arrival in Kansas City, USA, it was forwarded to Lawrence, Kansas, but had a two line violet handstamp applied 'Received for Trial / from Kansas City, Mo.' Interesting!
