1942 unfranked envelope from GROOTFONTEIN dated 6 OCT 42 to Windhoek. A boxed 'T' tax cachet was applied and a manuscript '3d' written next to it. On arrival a 3d Postage Due was affixed and cancelled Windhoek 9 X 42.The cover has been folded and has a light central crease, well away from any of the markings or stamp.
