1943 Red Cross Postal Message Scheme censored cover to Switzerland, bearing a 6c cancelled by an indistinct PORT OF SPAIN 1943 canceller. On the front is a handstamp 'COUPON – REPONSE with a manuscript '4' alongside, indicating the contents. On the back is a good strike of the' BRITISH RED CROSS SOCIETY / TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO / CENTRAL COUNCIL BRANCH.' cachet and a circular 'A.X.' censor strike, applied in France while in transit to Switzerland. A fine and very scarce cover.
