1944 size ‘H’ censored KG VI registered envelope to the UK uprated with four Bahrain overprinted 8As on the front and a pair of ½As and two vertical pairs of 2As are on the back, all cancelled BAHRAIN 26 JAN 44. The cover was opened and a censor label affixed at the right. At the top is written ‘Permit No. 7895’. A very scarce registered cover with this 2 Rupee 9As franking.
