1945 cover to Johannesburg with a 2d tied by the scarce BOBONONG 20 AUG 45 cancel. Bobonong was a small village south east of Francistown, about 50 miles east of Selebi Phikwe. The post office only opened around 1942 as a postal agency. Very uncommon.
