1953 cover to East London, South Africa, with a pair of 1d’s cancelled by two strikes of the rare MOSHUPA 10 VI 53 datestamps. Moshupa was a postal agency in what was then a very small village 35 miles south west of Gaberones. The post office only opened in July 1945. A very fine example of this seldom seen canceller.
