1888 cover to Leicester with a 6d on 6d tied by a very fine strike of TAUNGS BECHUANALAND OC 6 88 with a second strike to the left. This 6d rate only came into effect five days earlier on 1st October. Prior to that it was 8d per ½ oz. Cape Town OC 10 and Leicester OC 30 88 transit and arrival backstamps. Very fine and rare.
