1867 cover sent internally from Ireland Island at the military concession 1d rate to Sgt Lane, Master Tailor, 61st Regt. Prospect Hill, the stamp cancelled by a barred ‘3’ with a BERMUDA ‘I’ 30 MR 67 PAID datestamp alongside. The ‘I’ in the canceller shows that it was posted from IRELAND ISLAND, the four main Post Offices each having a code letter in the datestamp being the capital letter of the name of origin. Backflap missing but a nice internal military concession usage.
