1902 cover from Mafeking (Burgher Camp?) to a P.O.W. at Sialkot P.O.W. Camp with a Cape 1d cancelled MAFEKING JU 4 02. A Mafeking censor cachet is on the front of the cover (this censor cachet was used for mail from the Burgher Camp there.) On arrival at Sialkot the cover was forwarded to Topa. On the back are Kimberley JU 6, East London JU 8, Calcutta 20 JL, Sialkot 22 and 23 JL, and Topa 24 JL 02. A scarce incoming cover to this Camp in the North Western Province of India which was the last Camp to open on 10 July 1902. It was built to hold parolees. Mail to or from this Camp is very scarce.
