1902 censored cover sent locally with a Transvaal 1d with the variety ‘V. R. I. overprint inverted’. The stamp has been cancelled HEIDELBERG 20 MAY 02. At the lower left is a ‘Passed Censor Heidelberg Transvaal’ censor cachet. The cover has a vertical crease at the left but still one of very few known inverted overprints on cover.
