1901 censored cover to Pretoria with a 1 Anna cancelled UMBALLA 21 NO 01. Pretoria and Johannesburg censor cachets are on the front of the cover, on the back is a fine strike in blue of the BOER CAMP UMBALLA cachet and Durban DE 17, Johannesburg 19 DE and Pretoria 20 DE 01 transit and arrival cancels. A pencil notation ‘E Mayer, Umballa’ on the back of the cover is probably the sender of this letter.
