1895 2d ‘External’ card to England written from LIKOMA ISLAND by the Rev A Glossop, who was at the Likoma Island Mission Station from 1893 to 1935. The card went south on the German Steamer ‘Wissman’ and entered the post at FORT JOHNSON where it was cancelled DE 6 95. Blantyre DE 14 95 and Tshinde JA 4 96 transit cancels are on the back of the card. Likoma Island Mission Station was the first mission station that opened in B.C.A.
