1903 R I. M .S.”Hardinge” envelope to India with a 1a cancelled BERBERA 18 JUL 03. The original letter written on the hospital ship Royal Indian Merchant Hardinge stationery accompanies the cover. The sender, Sub Lieutenant Bruce C Marsh says in the letter that ‘We have just got 100 sick on board and expect another 150 in a few days’. There is also a picture post card of R.I.M.S. Hardinge. A very fine trio of items.
