1915 censored cover sent to Shiraz, franked on the reverse with a 6ch brown and lake (setting IIB, pos. 8) cancelled by a BOUSHIR (DEPART) 9 IX 15 datestamp. A Shiraz Arrivee 14 IX 15 cancel is on the cover as well as a green bilingual censor label overlapped by a violet on white label in Arabic reading ‘Opened in the name of the Persian Committee of Borasjan’. Typical minor cover faults that do not detract. Scarce.
