1909 picture post card to Grahamstown with a 1d cancelled by a very fine strike of the scarce VAAL VLEY FE 20 09. A Grahamstown arrival cancel of the same date is alongside. Vaal Vley was a small village in the Albany district of the Eastern Cape that no longer exists today. A very fine strike of this scarce canceller.
