1860 outer wrapper to Madras, India, with a pair of imperf 5d, large to touched margins, with light bars cancels. At the left is a STAMPED h/s and a red GALLE POST PAID MR 22 1860 dispatch cancel. Kandy and Kandy Steamer Letter cancels are on the back along with a Madras MR 28 1860 arrival c.d.s. A most appealing item, a pair of 5d paying the 10d rate is rare.
