MEXICO. 1872 wrapper used internally to Veracruz with a Mexico 12c and a G.B. 4d, Plate 12, lettered F D, the 4d tied by a barred ‘C 63’ cancel and both stamps tied by an oval Tampico cancel. A TAMPICO DE 27 1872 datestamp is on the cover. The G B 4d has been scissor cut at the top, otherwise a fine and very scarce item.
