PERU. 1876 United States Consulate ‘Callao’ cover to Greensboro, Georgia, USA, with, on the back, an irregular block of three G.B. 6d, Plate 14, cancelled by barred ‘C35’ cancels of CALLAO and a similar block of three U.S. 5c cancelled N. YORK STEAMSHIP SEP 11. A Panama AU 30 76 transit cancel is also on the back of the cover. The cover has been fractionally trimmed at the right and there are some cover faults, but an attractive and exceedingly rare franking.
