BRAZIL. 1872 cover to Germany with a G.B. 2/- blue, Plate 1, and a 4d Plate 12 each tied by a barred ‘C83’ obliterator. A red RIO DE JANEIRO PAID AP 28 72 datestamp also partly ties the 2/-. A London Paid 17 MY 72 transit cancel is on the front of the cover, and an indistinct arrival cancel in Germany is on the back. The 2/- is a rare stamp on cover from Brazil. R.P.S.L. Certificate.
