1843 Mulready envelope (AS 46) sent from Carlisle to Lancaster with a 1d black added, good to large margins but shaved at the lower right corner, Plate VII, lettered C B and tied by a red Maltese Cross. A CARLISLE JA 5 43 dispatch cancel is on the back. Minor faults to the Mulready and some damage to the flaps on the reverse, but still an appealing item from a well-known correspondence. RPSL certificate.
