1941 cover to Hong Kong with a pair of 1c and a 30c tied by bilingual SHANGHAI NOV 41 cancels. On arrival a boxed RECEIVED DAMAGED / AT HONG KONG cachet was applied. It would appear that the cover was in an accident that involved water judging by the colour run and staining on the back. This is believed the only known usage of this boxed cachet. A very fine and unique cover.
