1944 censored stampless military post card from Kan ichi Hattori, Kaori 8115 Unit, South China Dispatch, to Japan. The writer was a nurse in the Independent Infantry 68th Battalion under the Hong Kong Guard Unit, based at the Hong Kong Army Hospital. She says ‘It is very hot lately. I am sorry for not writing to you for so long. How are you all? Please don’t worry about me’. The exact date of dispatch is not known but it arrived in Japan in late August 1944. A very rare card from a nurse stationed in Hong Kong.
