1923 window envelope that has a ‘Bridgetown’ endorsement on the front. A red Dublin (?) dispatch 31 JA 23 cancel is on the front along with a Wexford 18 AP 23 c.d.s. The cover has a large two line ‘I R A / CENSORED’ handstamp that was in use in the Wexford area. The Wexford area was heavily targeted by the IRA in early 1923 with many post offices raided. Avery scarce cover that was delayed 11 weeks before arriving at its’ destination.
