1848 folded letter from Bethlehem, PA. endorsed ‘Via Baltimore’ with a dispatch cancel of JLY 19 48 and a red PAID 5 h/s and manuscript ‘1/-‘ in black ink, all on the front of the letter. On the back are Montego Bay AU 18 and Mandeville AU 22 cancels as well as a fine strike of the rare boxed MONTEGO BAY / SHIP LETTER cachet. A very fine and desirable letter with this rare boxed cachet.
