1925 underpaid cover sent locally with a ¼d stamp cancelled VALETTA AP 21 25. The ¼d rate was for a local unsealed letter, but this letter was sealed and the rate for a sealed letter was a ½d so the cover was taxed at double the ¼d deficiency and a ½d postage due affixed and cancelled Valetta AP 22 25. A very rare commercial usage of this ½d postage due.
