1863 envelope to Oxford, England, endorsed at the lower left ‘Paid via Southampton’ with a 6d, good even margins, tied by a barred ‘B53’ obliterator. A red 1 ½d accountancy mark is on the front, on the back are MAURITIUS MR 24 63 dispatch and Oxford MY 11 & 12 63 arrival datestamps. The cover has been quite severely damaged at the left, but still acceptable.
