1839 folded letter to France with a MAURITIUS POST OFFICE AU 9 1839 datestamp. A 1d in an oval is on the letter, possibly an internal charge for the letter to get to Port Louis? Transit and arrival cancels of FEVR 22 & 23 1840 are on the back. An interesting item.
