1859 envelope to Manchester with a 6d green, large margins and exceptionally fine embossing, tied by an oval POST OFFICE PMBURG canceller. A manuscript ‘6d’ charge mark is on the front of the cover, London MY 1 and Manchester MY 2 59 datestamps are on the back. A rarity and possibly one of the finest 6d embossed on cover.
