1895 ‘Coleman’ provisional cover sent locally within Durban with a DURBAN MR 21 95 cancellation. A manuscript ‘half penny / received in money’ with Coleman’s signature and a POSTMASTER OF DURBAN h/s are at the upper right of the cover. This manuscript provisional was in use for a short while in March 1895 when there was a shortage of ½d stamps. Backflap missing which is of no significance. Uncommon.
